Arrive in Negombo
A gentle first night close to the airport, with time to settle in and see the lagoon-side character of Negombo.
Caves, rock fortresses and cycling
Travel via Dambulla to Sigiriya, combine the Lion Rock climb with village life, cycle through Polonnaruwa and tackle Pidurangala for sunset.
Kandy and the Pekoe Trail
Continue through Matale to Kandy for the Temple of the Tooth and, if it suits your fitness and route, hike Stage 1 of the Pekoe Trail.
Rafting in Kitulgala
Head into rainforest country for optional white-water rafting, stream sliding and a confidence jump, with activities matched to the group.
Nuwara Eliya to Ella
Explore tea country, add Horton Plains if wanted, then take the scenic rail journey towards Ella when seats are available.
Little Adam's Peak and Yala
Walk to Little Adam's Peak, stop at Ravana Falls and continue to the Yala or Tissamaharama area.
